Coffee, commercials and controversy

It was all about the Three C's on the Brock Jackson Show today...coffee, commercials and controversy!
 
It was about a 80-20 split of people who choose coffee over tea (not surprisingly) but I also got callers suggesting I use sports drinks, fruit smoothies and good old fashioned water to wake up.

I'll do whatever it takes to get back into the routine! Thanks for all the suggestions.

I mentioned the Greatest Superbowl Commercials of all time are on the tube tonight...one of my faves from past Super Bowls is this one:

 

That's a great way to settle the problem!

Also, we discussed the remake of REM's "Everybody Hurts." It has been orchestrated by Simon Cowell to raise money for the Haitian relief effort, and it features a TON of big stars.
There is a little controversy around it...some saying that it's a little disrespectful to the people of Haiti because of the line "everybody hurts, sometimes. So hold on."

Big deal! It's all about raising money...isn't that the main thing?
