The Anti Group, later morphing into T.a.g.c., were conceived as an experimental multi-media project by Adi Newton of Clock Dva. Their first full length, The Delivery, recorded live with a multimedia display at the Atonal Festival in Berlin in 1985, shows a band stretching beyond Dva into a new direction. Whereas Dva were the most {soul}-influenced of the earlier U.K. {industrial} bands, T.a.g.c. go further out, mixing {free jazz} with the {industrial} and {funk}, especially on the lengthy title track, a wild and powerful instrumental that never lets up as the squall of horns, effects, and feedback shift in and out of driving drum machine and bass rhythms.
