TransCanada Closed at Glacier National Park

It'll be at least Sunday night or Monday before vacationing Albertans can return home from the Okanagan/Shuswap area, at least via the TransCanada.

Highway 1 between Golden and Revelstoke will remain closed until at least 6pm on Sunday as crews work to clear a mudslide.

The slide happened just before 1 o'clock Saturday morning, which means the area has been shut down for over a day.

Officials have also advised that their confidence is LOW that the highway will even re-open by Sunday evening.
